Welcome to my musical workspace.
I am a composer and songwriter, and this site brings together my ongoing creative work. Here you will find finished compositions, songs, sketches, experiments, studies, and developing ideas, alongside notes on process, influences, and musical exploration.
Rather than presenting only completed works, this project documents the wider journey of composition. Some pieces are polished and complete; others are works in progress, early concepts, or fragments that may evolve into something larger over time.
The collection continues to grow and change as new music is written, revised, organised, and connected. It serves both as a personal archive and as a place to explore how ideas develop from first sketch to finished piece.
If you spend some time listening or browsing, I hope you find something that resonates with you.
Thank you for visiting.
Thoughtful feedback is always appreciated. Whether your comments relate to structure, orchestration, mood, development, production, or simply your overall reaction, outside perspectives often reveal things a composer can miss.
I am also continuing to organise and develop this collection, so suggestions about categorisation, navigation, and presentation are equally welcome.
Even a short impression can be valuable.
This project began in a very practical way. I was trying to discuss my music with a friend and collaborator over Zoom. We wanted to listen to recordings together, compare ideas, and remind ourselves where we had reached with pieces we were developing. Like many creative people, we both had recordings, scores, lyrics and notes scattered across different computers and folders.
It quickly became clear that what we really needed was a place where we could both look at exactly the same material, wherever we happened to be.
What started as a simple page of recordings has gradually evolved into something much larger: a living archive of my work as a composer and songwriter.
Here you'll find finished compositions, songs, sketches, experiments and developing ideas. Rather than presenting only polished works, this archive documents the creative journey from first musical idea to completed composition. Some pieces are complete, others are still evolving, and some may eventually become something quite different.
The archive continues to grow as new music is written, revised and connected. My hope is that it not only preserves my work, but also provides a place where friends, listeners, musicians and collaborators can explore the music and become part of its continuing development.
Above all, I write music because I enjoy the creative process and because I hope other people will enjoy listening to it, performing it and perhaps even being inspired to create music of their own.
