Lyrics

Angela, she’s so angular,
sleek and sporty like a car
Angela’s a Ford Anglia,
driving down the dusty tarmac.

Like a car she’ll go far,
she’ll go far.

Angela, she’s so angular,
leather steering wheel, walnut dash.
Angela wears old wranglers,
drive her too hard and she will crash.

Like a car she’ll go far,
she’ll go far.

Like a car she’ll go far,
she’ll go far.

Angela has dangled a
pair of foam filled furry dice.
Angela, she’s so angular.
If you want to drive, ask her advice.

Like a car she’ll go far,
she’ll go far.

Angela danced a tango after
driving through a bright red light.
Handle her and she’s mangle ya.
She knows what’s wrong, she knows what’s right

Like a car she’ll go far,
she’ll go far.

I started this song with Charlie May. He had the chorus lyrics and I had the chord progression. We jammed out a verse, singing with American accents.

Later TJ Davies went away and worked on the verses making it a complete song.
