My recording studio, Fast Forward Studio, had moved from my parent's bungalow to a workshop within the grounds of Mendip Hospital. This was a working mental hospital that was shuting down in stages and the unoccupied buildings were open up as workshops.

It was here that the earliest version of Ice Staion Penguin (previously named False Teeth and Twist rehearsed and jammed out material.

This environment inspired the song. I wrote the music based on four different section stuck together and Gaye Hardy wrote the lyrics.
